The students of Scandinavian Gymnasium have celebrated the Day of Reconciliation and the 71st anniversary of the victory over Nazism in World War II. The Lessons of Memory took place in each class. The children learned about the terrible and very expensive price the world paid for peace and about the contribution of the Ukrainian people into the victory over the brown plague.
The students prepared projects about the Second World War, presented photo and video reports, memoirs of their relatives. Also, master classes on manufacturing red poppies for 7-graders were held. The students of the 8G form, on the map, analyzed the directions of the Liberation Army advances. Our elementary school students recited poems by the Ukrainian poets about the heroism of the Ukrainians and prepared drawings in which they pictured their dreams about peace.
The students joined the "Children are painting the world» flash mob in Khreshchatyk street where the map of Ukraine was made up of children's drawings.
We remember the heroism of our people! Let there be Peace in our land!
