Day of Knowledge
Again the morning of the first day of September was filled with the melodious sound of the school bell. The streets of Kyiv blossomed with twittering, smiles of children and young people, and magic blizzard of autumn asters. Nostalgic glances of adults, awe, sadness and joy were closely interwoven. On the 1st of September Scandinavian Gymnasium celebrated the holiday of wisdom, hope, love and kindness. 190 first-graders joined our family who will not only acquire knowledge, but also find good and true friends.
Mr. Sampo Saarinen, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Finland, T. P. Antonenko, a representative of Darnitsa Administration, S. Kotvitsky and V. Alekseenko, assistants to the deputy of Kyiv City Council, A. A. Suharevskaya, a methodologist from Darnytsa District Scientific and Methodological Center, came to the gymnasium to celebrate with us.
Dear students!
We wish you good health, comfort in the family, peace and harmony. Let the new school year bring much new knowledge and success. We wish parents joy and pride for their children.
