Birthday of Scandinavian Gymnasium
On January the 24th Scandinavian Gymnasium celebrated its ninth birthday. The program of the event included holiday greetings from every class.
The Scandy Foundation presented elementary school students a visit to the cinema where young students watched animated cartoons "The Ice Heart" and" Tarzan".
The fifth-graders prepared a presentation of their classes under the slogan "We are students!"; the six-graders prepared presentations under the slogan "That's the thing happened". The seventh grade shot the film "Literary characters are sending greetings", and the eighth grade greeted the school from around the world - Mexico, Georgia, Norway, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Spain.
The long-awaited event of the holiday, as always, was a competition of 9th-11th-graders "Miss and Mister Scandinavian Gymnasium 2014". Ten couples competed in dancing, intellectual contests, and each class presented their homework "Eurovision our way". The jury made a unanimous decision: Kryachok Catherine and Sytnyk Bogdan (11 A) became the winners of the year competition.
