Results of the "Kangaroo 2013" International Mathematical Competition in the 5th-11th
grades
Annually the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the International Association "Kangaroo Without Borders" holds the international mathematical competition called "The Kangaroo" which brings together participants from over 30 countries. In Ukraine, the basic unit for the competition is Lviv Physics and Mathematics Lyceum at Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko.
To show each student that the search method for solving problems can be exciting and even cheerful is the purpose of the contest.
In 2013, 701 student of Scandinavian Gymnasium took part in the competition. During the first week of October in the assembly hall of the gymnasium the grand award ceremony of the International Mathematical Competition "Kangaroo - 2013 " among secondary and high school students took place.
