Meeting of the student government leaders at “Artek” ICC
In September, 2013 the International Children's Center "Artek” held the XI International Educational and Recreational Meeting of Kyiv student government leaders. Three hundred 8-11-formers from different Kyiv schools participated in the meeting including the students from our gymnasium. For two weeks on the Black Sea coast the students enjoyed wonderful active rest, showed their creativity and implemented their initiatives. There were interesting trainings, business games, workshops, presentations, creative games, the race for the leader of the eco-modernist "Green Planet" quest, an evening program "And as long as our song is heard, will Ukraine be on Earth", a festival-competition of Artek songs, "Artek fills the sails" competition for the best photos, theme parties and other interesting activities. The leaders of the Darnytsya District Council of Senior High School Students, “The Arrow”, represented our region with dignity. They had a chance to prove themselves. Two leaders of the students’ government, Darya Oprya (11A) and Grigoriy Medvedev (11V), represented Scandinavian Gymnasium. All the Council was one big friendly family. Unfortunately, for many leaders it was their last visit to Artek but they will remain friends.
