The Holiday of Embroidery
Among the May celebrations the Day of the Embroidery held in Scandinavian Gymnasium on May the 21st, 2013 became a real folk festival. The variety of colors of Ukrainian embroidery beautified each class. In the school yard the students created a flash mob "The Scandinavian Gymnasium Embroidery."
Each class also presented traditional dishes from different regions of Ukraine. Children and teachers had the opportunity to taste the culinary creations of our skilled chefs.
This festival has shown that the young generation Ukrainians respects the customs and traditions of our people and knows how to maintain and develop them.
