Christmas matinées
At the end of December Christmas matinees for the elementary and secondary school students took place at Scandinavian Gymnasium. All the students attended a theater performance "The Snow Queen", had the opportunity to express themselves in fun games and amusements as well as to demonstrate their festive costumes.
The Christmas parties were also held in some classes. For example, the 3B form students became characters of a fairy tale and got a lot of positive emotions from funny fairy tale characters – the Old Witch Baba Yagusha, Shapoklyak, ferocious karateka robbers, Koshchei the Deathless, funny swans, gentle snowflakes and the Snow Queen. Santa Claus and charming Snow Maiden wished everybody Happy New Year. All the audience sang with the characters.
The high school students finished the year with stirring Christmas disco!
The New Year celebrations also happened at sports and dance clubs.
The Scandy Foundation, the school Parents’ Committee and the class teachers jointly organized the events.
